Aside from non-melanoma skin cancers, Prostate cancer, or PCa, is the most common cancer diagnosed for males in the United States and the second leading cause of cancer death for them. Its varying degrees of aggressiveness along with high incidence to mortality ratio, provide significant challenges for both patients and the medical community. However, the treatment landscape of PCa and its metastatic form is rapidly evolving and recent trials in patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer are showing great promise.
