Chapters Transcript Video Miami Neuroscience Symposium Advances Brain and Spine Care We're here at the Miami Hilton Dadeland, the 12th annual Miami Neuroscience Symposium. The thing that makes our symposium different is now that we have additional neurology faculty. We have the ability to use our own faculty to give the presentations as opposed to in the past where we had to invite outside speakers. It's basically a home run show, all the speakers review the most recent medical literature to provide an update for the participants that allows us to continue to learn to be kept up to date. We can treat our patients in a more up to date fashion. I'm excited with the upcoming biologic therapies for some of the degenerative diseases. And hopefully, we'll be able to participate in convection enhanced delivery of adeno associated virus with glial derived neurotrophic factor for patients with pretty bad Parkinson's disease. We also are enrolling in a trial where we're going to be injecting autologous fat derived mesenchymal stem cells into the brains of patients with Alzheimer's disease. So a lot of exciting things are going to be happening in the next 12 to 18 months. Created by
