Harlan Selesnick, M.D., Appointed President of National Basketball Association Physicians Association
Dr. Selesnick, the team physician for the Miami HEAT, becomes the organization's first two-time president.
Orthopedic Surgeon Harlan Selesnick, M.D., who serves as the Miami HEAT team physician, has been appointed by the National Basketball Association Physicians Association as its next president, after serving as vice president for one year. This will be Dr. Selesnick's second term as president, having served a previous term from 1999 to 2001 and making him the first two-time president in the organization's history.
Dr. Selesnick has served the Miami HEAT as team physician since the franchise began in 1988.
