Chapters Transcript Video Expert Orthopedic Care Has New Home at Boca Raton Regional Hospital When I first came to Baptist Health orthopedic care, the vision that was established was to get a centralized location. I'm a big believer in improving patient care by putting everything in one spot. This facility is the first step in moving towards our vision of an academic program here in Palm Beach County. And at Boca Regional Hospital, we've put together all the subspecialty service lines in orthopedics so that you can have anything from sports medicine care to uh surgery for a hip or knee replacement, the foot and ankle surgery. So we have everything on site in this facility. I think that there are significant benefits to having everything in one place, everybody's on site so that if you have something which another specialist needs to see, then, then it's very easy to arrange those appointments in this world of subs specialization. We want the best quality experts seeing the problems that they're meant to see. And so if you see something in your office and you're not sure about what to do or where to send it, it's nice to be able just to walk down the hall and talk to your colleague who is probably the expert in the field. I think what we're trying to establish is the highest quality of clinical care for patients with best practices. What I'm hoping to do is recruit people and have such a great facility that we can be innovative in this area and then be able to publish and present our stuff across the nation in terms of what we're doing here in Palm Beach County.
