Chapters Transcript Video Building a Winning Team: Dr. Nguyen’s Vision I'm here to try to build the best cardiovascular program in the United States and beyond hands down to do that, it's all about people. It's about recruiting the most talented people here to be courageous enough and brave enough to go out there and push all up and do different things. I always make it very clear that we have a huge team in the background and in the front really focus on that patient. It needs to be synchronized. Everyone needs to know their role. It needs to be. fi ci ent to have teams that help patients get into the hospital, teams that help patients be evaluated in clinic, a huge team in the operating room, a huge team in the ICU and in the past, I think a lot of patients have left Miami to go to Houston or New York, all other places I've trained to get their care, and I think it's time to kind of change that story line a little bit. I'd love 20 years from now to look back and say, wow, we transformed medicine into Miami we transform medicine in the state of Florida. Created by
