Chapters Transcript Video Baptist Health - Brain & Spine Symposium Hello, I'm Warren Selman. I'm here at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute Brain and spine symposium. We know that neurological disorders are the leading cause of health problems throughout the world, and not many people really know that we have effective treatments for many of these problems. So the good news is that we're going to be sharing today. What we have learned about treating neurological disorders, we really want to make sure that everyone knows all the advancements that are going on, because the worst thing is having a neurological disorder and feeling your trapped, and what we want to do is show everyone who touches the patient that there is hope. There's a lot of exciting advancements down the road. Uh, one of them is robotics. So robotics now has become a physical manifestation of artificial intelligence, and so we're able to plan the surgery before the patient walks into the operating room and then use robotics to accurately perform the surgeries, but we can also do that through a smaller incision and then customize our implants to each individual patient before they walk into the room. So I think it's great to have physicians to discuss how they're using different technologies to to advance patient care. Neurological disorders really cover a very wide spectrum of diseases, all the way from the brain to the spine to the peripheral nerves. So you can imagine we wanted to bring together experts in all those areas. Created by
