Dr. Ravenna brings an integrated, patient-centered approach to care, drawing on his broad clinical background and subspecialty fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology. His clinical interests include optic neuropathies, optic neuritis, headache disorders and inflammatory and demyelinating conditions that affect visual pathways. He also has a particular interest in idiopathic intracranial hypertension, emphasizing early diagnosis, prevention of vision loss and long-term neurologic and ocular health.

“Dr. Ravenna’s arrival strengthens our already exceptional team of medical professionals and reinforces our commitment to delivering the highest quality care,” said Warren Selman, M.D., chief medical executive at Marcus Neuroscience Institute. “His depth of experience and clinical expertise will have an immediate and meaningful impact on both our organization and the patients we serve.”

Dr. Ravenna completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, and his neurology residency at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. Earlier in his career, he completed an ophthalmology residency at San Isidro Central Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Committed to compassionate, evidence-based care, Dr. Ravenna emphasizes clear communication and shared decision-making. “I strive to take the time to truly listen to patients and understand how their symptoms affect their daily lives,” he said. “By partnering with patients and focusing on education and long-term relationships, my goal is not only to treat disease, but also to preserve function, quality of life and overall well-being.”

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ravenna has a strong interest in teaching and mentorship, particularly in introducing medical students and trainees to neuro-ophthalmology as a dynamic, integrative subspecialty that benefits from multidisciplinary collaboration.

Dr. Ravenna will see patients at 670 Glades Rd., Ste. 300, Boca Raton, Florida, and 800 Meadows Rd., Boca Raton, Florida.
