Guilherme Dabus, M.D., co-director of interventional neuroradiology at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, has been elected president-elect of the 2024-2025 Board of Directors for the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS), a board he has served on since 2017. As president-elect, he will support ongoing educational and policy initiatives to advance the field of neuro-interventional surgery.
Dr. Dabus is a proven leader in the field. He has contributed to more than 170 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and invited comments. He has been a guest editor for three scientific journals and has presented internationally, including more than 400 invited lectures and panel discussions.
SNIS is the leading multidisciplinary scientific and educational association. It is comprised of 1,500 members worldwide and aims to promote the highest quality, comprehensive, minimally invasive care for patients with stroke, brain aneurysms and other diseases of the head, neck and spine. Its membership includes specialists in interventional neuroradiology, endovascular neurosurgery and interventional neurology.
