Focusing on the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease, he uses advanced imaging, evidence-based evaluation and long-term disease management strategies to guide patient care. He joins Baptist Health after many years of practice in Broward County, where he cared for patients across multiple healthcare systems and clinical environments, emphasizing accurate diagnosis, continuity of care and collaborative decision-making.

“Dr. Soler brings a thoughtful, data-driven approach to cardiovascular care that aligns well with our focus on quality and patient outcomes,” said Tom C. Nguyen, M.D., chief medical executive of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, director of minimally invasive surgery, Barry T. Katzen Endowed Chair at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, and professor and chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. “His expertise in imaging and informatics strengthens our commitment to precise diagnosis, informed decision-making and patient-centered care.”

Dr. Soler earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, after graduating magna cum laude from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Overlook Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at The Medical College of Pennsylvania.

Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Soler also holds certifications in nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography and clinical informatics.

In addition to his clinical work, he has served in physician leadership roles supporting electronic health record implementation, computerized provider order entry and evidence-based clinical decision support systems across multiple healthcare organizations.

“Dr. Soler’s career reflects a strong commitment to thoughtful, data-informed cardiovascular care and interdisciplinary collaboration,” said Ashford Denman, vice president of operations at Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care. “His experience will further enhance our ability to deliver coordinated care and support both patients and referring physicians across the continuum of heart health.”

Committed to clear communication and coordinated care, Dr. Soler works closely with cardiologists, primary care physicians and referring providers to ensure seamless transitions for shared patients. He takes time to listen to patients, explain findings in clear, understandable terms and develop individualized care plans that reflect each patient’s goals, values and overall health.

He speaks English and Spanish. Dr. Soler will see patients at 1228 S. Pine Island Road, Suite 320, Plantation, Florida. To schedule an appointment, call 786-204-4200 or visit BaptistHealth.net/Heart.
