Orthopedic surgeon Gautam Yagnik, M.D., with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, has been selected to serve on the NFL Physicians Society (NFLPS) Board of Directors. Dr. Yagnik is a team physician for the Miami Dolphins. 

Dr. Yagnik was selected for his work as a team physician for the Miami Dolphins and for his expertise in sports medicine and caring for professional athletes. 

Announcing his selection, the NFLPS cited Dr. Yagnik's expertise at the highest level of sports medicine, his leadership and his steadfast commitment to player health and safety as attributes from which the Society and NFL players will benefit.
