2026 Brain and Spine Symposium Highlights Advances Across the Neurosciences
The conversations at the 2026 Marcus Neuroscience Institute Brain and Spine Symposium made it clear that neuroscience is advancing rapidly. Over two days, specialists across neurology, neurosurgery and related subspecialties came together to discuss advances in stroke care, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurodegenerative disease, neuro-oncology, brain and spine surgery, interventional pain management and emerging technologies.

Sessions explored timely topics including Alzheimer’s infusion therapies, Parkinson’s disease updates, essential tremor treatment options, acute ischemic stroke, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, brain tumor care, complex spine surgery, artificial intelligence in preoperative planning and augmented reality guidance in the operating room. The common thread throughout the symposium was clear: better patient care depends on collaboration across disciplines.
Across Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, we remain committed to fostering the collaboration, education and innovation that continue to move neuroscience care forward. Thank you to the faculty, symposium directors, attendees and exhibitors who helped make this year’s program a meaningful forum for clinical insight, education and connection.
